1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using TaxWiseRetire, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Not financial or tax advice

TaxWiseRetire is an informational and planning tool only. It is not a licensed financial advisor, tax preparer, or attorney, and nothing produced by the tool constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice. Calculations are estimates based on the information you provide and current tax rules, which may change. Always confirm significant financial or tax decisions with a qualified, licensed professional.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information, including a working phone number and email address.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Free tier limits

Free accounts are limited to one saved plan of up to three accounts, and do not include running projections or exporting results. These limits may change with notice.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — this includes attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the service, or using it for unlawful purposes.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

TaxWiseRetire is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep calculations accurate and current, but we don't guarantee the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaxWiseRetire is not liable for financial decisions made based on figures produced by the tool.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
